After Radiesse

Radiesse is a calcium hydroxylapatite injectable. Protocol, treatment area and aftercare must be individualised.

This is a general guide. Your clinician’s written instructions for your specific product and health situation take priority.

Before treatment

  • Provide a complete medical history, allergies, medication and previous injectables.
  • Understand why this product and treatment area were selected.
  • Do not proceed with active infection or inflammation.

At-home care

  • Follow only the personalised massage plan if one was prescribed.
  • Avoid pressure, intense heat and strenuous exercise during the first day.
  • Report reactions that worsen instead of improving.

Possible reactions

Temporary swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness in the treated area.

When to seek help

Severe or escalating pain, skin colour change, visual or neurological symptoms are an emergency.

For sudden dangerous symptoms, do not wait for a Direct reply — contact local emergency services.
